We recommend all drivers to bring their cars, logbooks, and GEAR because of the new OAY tech on GEAR. OAY tech on gear is new starting in 2000.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GO IF YOUR CAR DOES NOT HAVE A LOGBOOK! A full (new car) inspection will have to be done before a logbook will be issued. This type of inspection always takes longer.
A2:
If there is a safety problem, you will have more time to fix the problem with less stress. It will probably result in a better job.
A3:
You will have to wait in the long inspection lines with all the rest who did not. While on line, you will be hoping that your car passes. If there is something with your car which doesn't meet the current safety requirements, you can only hope that you will have enough time to fix it and not miss any practice, qualifying, or race sessions. You may also miss a session waiting in line.
A4:
It takes a finite amount of time to correctly inspect a car no matter where it is done.
A5:
Tech Workers typically have more time to spend with drivers at Once-A-Year Tech. At race events, Tech Workers are generally more swamped with compliance checks, gear checks, PAS, and the like.

Better than 90 Percent. They know the value and convenience of these sessions.
